Counter Charge of Conspiracy

C. S. Stylaus, an apothecary, doing business upstairs at 541 Broadway street, was arrested yesterday by officer Lindheimer for an infamous crime against nature. The complaint was made at the police office by A. J. Von Ahn, a house and sign painter, whose place of business is at 827 Vallejo street. Stylaus asserts that the entire accusation is trumped up against him by Von Ahn and Dr. Bruck, because of being black balled in a Masonic Lodge. He is satisfied that he can establish his entire innocence. The case will be investigated in the Police Court, and the facts sifted to the foundation.
