Many Details Still Unknown About City's Latest Murder

Police tell us they've made an arrest in the murder of 39 year-old Cesar Torres. Just after midnight, 25 year-old Michael Manuel Herrera was booked into the El Paso County Jail for murder. He is currently being held on a $125,000 bond. We are still waiting for confirmation from Police that Herrera is responsible for this murder. The investigation began Wednesday afternoon on the 500 block of Missouri at a converted two-story house behind City Hall. Witnesses at the scene tell us a neighbor discovered Torres' body.

Investigators haven't released much information about how he died. All they've said is that they found something at the scene that prompted a further investigation into his death. It wasn't until yesterday that Police upgraded the suspicious death to a homicide. We expect to get confirmation on the killer's identity later today.
