Logan County Illinois Criminal Records
The below is a simple list of cases that may or may not involve gay men. They include charges of sodomy, crimes against nature, indecent liberties and incest. I have ordered copies of the original case dockets for most of these charges and will update the information shortly. A couple of the more interesting listings are those of Charles Johnson and John Foley who were charged together for sodomy in January 1892 and Joseph Benson and Thomas Puff, both charged together for sodomy in 1889.
