Oliver Cutright was born in Missouri in about 1889 and was living in Vancouver, Washington when he was arrested for "carnal knowledge" in 1913. It should be noted that we do not yet know the exact nature of his crime and he may not have been homosexual. The term "carnal knowledge" can refer to any sexual act. However, when the act involved a child or a women, it was usually noted in the reformatory records. But we were given no hint in the case of Oliver Cutright.
